Work while you study
Students in Canada benefit from the ability to work and study simultaneously. This allows individuals to manage their finances without going into huge debt, among other things. In order to be allowed to work off campus, students must complete the following requirements:
- Have a valid study permit
- Be a full-time student
- Be enrolled in a post-secondary or, in Quebec, a secondary level vocational programme at a designated learning institution; and
- Be enrolled in an academic, vocational, or professional training program lasting at least six months.
If a candidate meets the requirements, he or she will be granted a study permit that will allow them to:
- During regular academic sessions, work up to 20 hours per week; and
- During designated breaks, such as the winter and summer holidays or spring break, work full-time.
What is the Student Partnership Program, and how does it work?
It is an administrative program developed and implemented in collaboration with the Association of Canadian Community Colleges and Canadian immigration agencies in India (ACCC). The following is the current list of ACCC members who are participating: This program allows students of Indian origin to enroll in Canadian universities and colleges. The Student Partners Program joins close collaboration and feedback from participating universities to ensure that scholars adhere to the terms of their study permits.
Student Partnership Program Features (SPP)
The visa application process is streamlined, and the processing time is 10 working days. There is no need to provide bank history as proof of financial support. A minimum IELTS overall band score of 5.5 or a recognized Canadian High School diploma is required. The Release of Information Form must be signed in order for the college to report back to the visa office on your attendance in Canada as well as the student agent who helped recruit you to your college. GIC Guaranteed Income Certificates can be purchased to demonstrate your financial independence. To purchase a GIC, you must spend CAD$ 10,000 as proof of your financial ability to support your living expenses, excluding tuition fees. There is no requirement to obtain an education loan or to have a lengthy bank account history to demonstrate your financial stability.
World-class language trainer
Canada is regarded as a world leader in language training due to its language proficiency.Because French and English are essential components of a Canadian education system. This not only increased the students' vocabulary in either language but also helped them advance in their studies.
Advancement and an abundance of research opportunities
Because research is a key component of a Canadian post-secondary education, you will have numerous opportunities to participate in this dynamic aspect of education. The government and industry in Canada collaborate to support research in telecommunications, medicine, agriculture, computer technology, and environmental science.Universities & Colleges List
